1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed to make a site work; others are used for statistics or advertising.
2. Cookies on this website
This website sets cookies for one purpose only: visitor statistics with Google Analytics 4. They are set only after you click Accept in the cookie banner. We use no advertising cookies, no social media trackers, and no cross-site tracking.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells returning visitors apart | 2 years |
| _ga_[measurement ID] | Google Analytics | Keeps your visit together as one session | 2 years |
Your choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage under the name civsec-consent, together with the date. It contains no personal data and is only used to remember your answer.
3. What Google does with the data
With your consent, Google Analytics records which pages are visited, from which country and on which type of device. Google does not log or store individual IP addresses from visitors in the EU, Switzerland and the UK. We have switched off advertising features and data sharing with other Google products. Google LLC is based in the United States; see our privacy policy, section 3, for how that transfer is covered.
4. Your choice
The banner has two equal options: Decline and Accept. If you decline, nothing is set and the banner does not return. If you accept, you can withdraw at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. Withdrawing stops new data collection; you can also delete the cookies in your browser.
5. Deleting cookies in your browser
You can see and delete cookies in your browser settings (usually under "Privacy" or "Site data"). Deleting our cookies brings the banner back on your next visit.
6. Changes
We update this page if the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
