Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed to make a site work; others are used for statistics or advertising.

This website sets no cookies. Not for statistics, not for advertising, and not for social media. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to ask permission for.

3. How we count visits without cookies

We do measure which pages are visited and how quickly the site loads, because we need to know what is read and where it is slow. That measurement runs through Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which record which page was loaded, the country and region, the kind of device, browser, operating system and connection, the site you came from, and how quickly the page loaded for you. They store nothing in your browser and give you no persistent identifier: a temporary code is derived from the request and discarded automatically after 24 hours, so we cannot recognise you on a later day, and we cannot follow you to another website.

Because nothing is stored on your device and you are not identified, this does not require your consent. What it does mean is that our statistics are counts of page views and speed, not profiles of people.

If you open WhatsApp, LinkedIn, X, GitHub, Instagram or Reddit from our site, you leave our website and their cookie rules apply.

5. Changes

We update this page if we start using cookies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
